The End of a Chapter.....

It is with the very greatest of pleasure that I can announce that my PGCE that started here is now 

well and truely, 

completely and utterly 

COMPLETED!!!!

There have been highs and lows and it has been a slog, but above all it has been another great journey of discovery.  I have grown into a Teacher and it feels like a pretty good fit right now.  

But of course the last 18 months wouldn't have been possible without the support of my family.  Thanks Girls for not going completely off the rails, and Thanks 'Man of the House' for the cups of tea and cooking my dinner.  I really wouldn't have managed with out it ..... I am blessed x x :0)

During the last 18 months of study there have been a number of things that I felt I couldn't really do without a tinge on guilt.  Much as I (appear!) to enjoy studying it will be quite a little while before I contemplate the Masters!!  In the meantime, as I slowly adjust to not having to plan things and write stuff I can now turn my attention to the things I put off .....

Reading Novels...

Having lunch with friends...

Gardening...

Working the allotment...

...and many other things...

....as we await the start of the Next Chapter.

The one where I enter into the world of work.....there will probably be some knitting too :0)

On Being Thankful.

I have many things for which I am thankful.  I have my health, my lovely family and many great friends.  These are just of few of the many things I am thankful for.

But today I would like to thank someone special......I would like to thank

ME :0)

I am getting myself through Teaching Training, I am coping with the newly emerging Teenagers and all the other little (and big) things life throws at me, and still managing to get the tea on the table more often than not!

WELL DONE ME x

Now, come to think of it I reckon YOU are pretty special too.  I expect you have to cope with all sorts of difficult times and sorrows. So how about saying a Big Thankyou to YOU, you're great too x
